Sambhasha | Divine Dialogues

Last Updated: 14 October 2026

Welcome to the Sambhasha | Divine Dialogues community!

Sambhasha is a spiritual and educational platform dedicated to exploring the timeless wisdom of Sanatana Dharma through sacred scriptures, meaningful conversations, and shared spiritual experiences.

Our community brings together individuals interested in Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Puranas, spiritual philosophy, devotional practices, and personal spiritual growth.

We believe that meaningful spiritual learning flourishes in an atmosphere of mutual respect, sincerity, humility, and open-minded discussion.

These Community Guidelines have been established to maintain a welcoming, respectful, and constructive environment for everyone participating in our activities.

1. Purpose of Our Community

The primary objectives of the Sambhasha community are to:

  • Encourage the study and understanding of Sanatana Dharma and sacred scriptures.
  • Promote meaningful discussions about spirituality, philosophy, and ethical living.
  • Provide opportunities for collective learning through online sessions and educational resources.
  • Encourage personal reflection, devotion, and spiritual development.
  • Create a respectful environment where individuals can ask questions and exchange perspectives.
  • Inspire positive actions through initiatives such as the Sankalp Movement.

Our community is intended for education, spiritual exploration, and constructive dialogue rather than personal promotion or commercial activity.

2. Respect Every Individual

All members are expected to treat one another with courtesy, dignity, and respect.

We encourage thoughtful disagreement and meaningful discussion, but personal attacks, humiliation, abusive language, threats, harassment, and discriminatory behavior are not acceptable.

Differences in knowledge, background, experience, and spiritual understanding should be approached with patience and consideration.

Every individual deserves an opportunity to learn and participate without fear of ridicule.

3. Respect for Different Spiritual Perspectives

Sanatana Dharma encompasses diverse philosophical traditions, spiritual practices, and schools of thought.

Members may follow different Sampradayas, Gurus, devotional traditions, or interpretations of scriptures.

Respectful discussions about these differences are welcome.

However, members must not insult, demean, or deliberately provoke others because of their religious beliefs, philosophical views, or spiritual practices.

Our objective is to encourage understanding rather than hostility.

Disagreement with an idea is acceptable. Disrespect toward an individual is not.

4. Ask Questions Freely and Respectfully

We encourage curiosity, thoughtful inquiry, and sincere spiritual questions.

Members are welcome to ask questions about scriptures, religious customs, philosophical concepts, devotional practices, and other relevant subjects.

No sincere question should be dismissed merely because it appears simple, unconventional, or challenging.

At the same time, questions should be expressed respectfully and should not be intended to harass, insult, or provoke other participants.

The purpose of our discussions is to explore and understand, not to win arguments or establish personal superiority.

5. WhatsApp Group Guidelines

Our WhatsApp groups are intended primarily for spiritual learning, educational updates, session announcements, and community activities.

Members are requested to follow these rules:

  • Share messages relevant to spirituality, scriptures, or announced community activities.
  • Avoid unnecessary forwards, repetitive messages, and unrelated discussions.
  • Do not share advertisements, business promotions, referral links, or fundraising appeals without prior permission from administrators.
  • Avoid posting misleading claims, unverified sensational stories, or deliberately false information.
  • Do not share offensive, obscene, hateful, or threatening content.
  • Respect group announcements and administrative instructions.
  • Avoid repeatedly contacting members privately without their consent.
  • Do not collect or distribute other members’ phone numbers or personal information without permission.
  • Do not add other individuals to groups without following the applicable invitation or consent process.

Administrators may restrict messaging, remove inappropriate content where platform features permit, or remove members who repeatedly violate these guidelines.

WhatsApp Privacy

Depending on WhatsApp’s features and privacy settings, group members may be able to see other participants’ phone numbers, profile names, and profile pictures.

Members should consider these privacy implications before joining.

Participation in our WhatsApp community is voluntary.

6. Zoom Session Etiquette

Sambhasha may organize online sessions covering Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, spiritual philosophy, and other educational subjects.

To maintain a peaceful and productive learning environment, participants are requested to:

  • Join sessions on time whenever possible.
  • Keep microphones muted when not speaking.
  • Avoid interrupting speakers or other participants.
  • Use respectful language during questions and discussions.
  • Follow the moderator’s instructions regarding speaking opportunities.
  • Avoid unrelated conversations or disruptive behavior.
  • Refrain from displaying inappropriate images, messages, or screen content.
  • Respect the privacy and dignity of fellow participants.

Participants may be asked to mute themselves or leave a session if their conduct significantly disrupts the proceedings.

Recording of Sessions

Some sessions may be recorded for educational, archival, or publication purposes.

Where recording is planned, participants will be informed through appropriate notices.

Depending on the session settings, participants’ names, voices, video images, or chat contributions may be captured.

Participants should use available privacy controls or contact the organizers before participating if they have concerns about recording.

Members must not independently record, redistribute, or publicly publish identifiable contributions of other participants without appropriate permission or another lawful basis.

7. Spiritual Q&A Guidelines

Our Spiritual Q&A section provides an opportunity to explore questions relating to scriptures, religious traditions, spiritual practices, and philosophical subjects.

When submitting questions:

  • Use clear and respectful language.
  • Keep questions relevant to the purpose of the platform.
  • Avoid unnecessary personal or confidential information.
  • Do not submit abusive, threatening, defamatory, or discriminatory material.
  • Do not impersonate another person.
  • Avoid repeatedly submitting identical questions.

Questions may be selected, combined, shortened, or edited for clarity before being answered or published.

We cannot guarantee that every submitted question will receive an individual response.

Where anonymous submissions are permitted, we aim to respect that choice in public presentation.

8. Educational Quizzes and Activities

Our quizzes and educational exercises are intended to encourage learning and self-assessment.

Participants are expected to engage fairly and respectfully.

Members should not deliberately manipulate quiz results, impersonate other participants, or interfere with the functioning of educational activities.

Quizzes are learning tools, not measures of an individual’s spiritual worth, devotion, or personal character.

Where contests or rewards are announced, any additional participation rules will be communicated separately.

9. Sankalp Movement Guidelines

The Sankalp Movement encourages members to undertake small, meaningful spiritual commitments through practices such as Naam Japa, meditation, devotional activities, charitable actions, and other positive initiatives.

Participation is entirely voluntary.

Members are encouraged to:

  • Choose commitments appropriate to their circumstances and capabilities.
  • Participate with sincerity rather than competition or social pressure.
  • Respect the different spiritual practices and personal limitations of others.
  • Share progress honestly when choosing to report participation.
  • Encourage fellow members without criticism or comparison.
  • Avoid making guaranteed claims about spiritual or material outcomes.

The purpose of the Sankalp Movement is to inspire discipline, devotion, kindness, and collective spiritual growth.

No participant should feel pressured to disclose private spiritual experiences or personal circumstances.

10. No Unsolicited Promotions or Fundraising

Our community is not intended to function as a general advertising or promotional platform.

Members must not use community channels to promote products, services, businesses, paid courses, external groups, fundraising campaigns, or unrelated events without prior permission.

This includes repeated promotional messages, referral links, and unsolicited private approaches to other members.

Administrators may permit relevant educational resources or announcements when appropriate.

11. Privacy and Confidentiality

Members are expected to respect the personal information and private communications of others.

Without appropriate permission, members must not:

  • Publicly share another participant’s phone number, email address, or personal details.
  • Forward private conversations or screenshots containing personal information.
  • Publish another participant’s image, voice recording, or personal experiences.
  • Disclose confidential information shared during community interactions.
  • Misrepresent private discussions as official statements from Sambhasha.

Members should also avoid sharing their own sensitive information unnecessarily.

Although we encourage confidentiality, Sambhasha cannot guarantee that other participants will keep voluntarily shared information private.

12. Accuracy and Responsible Sharing

Spiritual discussions may involve scriptural quotations, historical narratives, traditional beliefs, and philosophical interpretations.

Members are encouraged to distinguish between:

  • Direct scriptural references.
  • Traditional interpretations or beliefs.
  • Personal opinions and experiences.
  • Claims supported by independent evidence.

When possible, please mention the source of quotations or teachings.

Members should avoid presenting unverified claims, rumors, or personal interpretations as unquestionable facts.

Corrections and differing interpretations should be communicated respectfully.

13. Health, Safety, and Spiritual Practices

Community discussions may include meditation, fasting, chanting, breathing practices, and other spiritual disciplines.

Members should not pressure others into undertaking practices that may be unsuitable for their health or circumstances.

Medical, psychological, legal, and financial concerns should be addressed with appropriately qualified professionals.

Spiritual practices must not be presented as guaranteed substitutes for necessary professional care.

Members must not encourage dangerous activities, self-harm, or the abandonment of essential medical treatment.

14. Protection Against Harassment and Misuse

Harassment, intimidation, bullying, stalking, threats, and unwanted repeated contact are prohibited.

Members must not misuse community participation to obtain money, confidential information, passwords, or other personal benefits through deception or coercion.

Suspected scams, impersonation, or inappropriate conduct may be reported to the administrators.

We may take reasonable steps to address reported concerns, including restricting participation or removing individuals from community spaces.

15. Moderation and Administrative Decisions

Sambhasha administrators and moderators may take reasonable steps to maintain a safe, respectful, and constructive environment.

Depending on the circumstances, these steps may include:

  • Issuing reminders or warnings.
  • Removing or declining inappropriate submissions.
  • Restricting participation in discussions.
  • Muting disruptive participants during online sessions.
  • Removing individuals from WhatsApp groups or online meetings.
  • Restricting access to community activities where necessary.

Moderation decisions will be guided by the nature, seriousness, and frequency of the conduct involved.

Immediate action may be taken in cases involving serious harassment, threats, fraud, or safety concerns.

We are not obligated to provide unlimited warnings before taking action.

16. Reporting Concerns

If you encounter harassment, inappropriate content, privacy violations, impersonation, or other conduct inconsistent with these guidelines, please contact the Sambhasha administrators.

Where possible, include relevant details such as the date, platform, and description of the incident.

We will review concerns in good faith and take appropriate action where reasonably possible.

Please avoid publicly escalating personal disputes within community groups.

17. Voluntary Participation

Participation in Sambhasha activities, WhatsApp groups, online sessions, quizzes, and spiritual initiatives is voluntary.

Members may discontinue participation at any time, subject to the functionality of the relevant platform.

Participation does not establish an employment relationship, professional advisory relationship, or entitlement to any particular service or outcome.

18. Changes to Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our activities, platforms, community needs, or applicable requirements.

The latest version will be made available on our website.

Members are encouraged to review the guidelines occasionally.
